I firmly believe that the cornerstone of therapeutic success is to build a trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients. I believe in creating and maintaining a safe and supportive environment in which my clients have the opportunity to explore their experiences, develop self-awareness and insight, recognize and develop strengths, and use these strengths toward improving their lives. My treatment approach is creative and flexible. I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs.

I am one of a group of independent behavioral health professionals dedicated to helping our clients find the best 'fit' into their life situation. Sometimes, children don't feel like they fit in with their peers or their families. Sometimes adults feel out of sync with their own bodies, or have a hard time feeling like things fit together at work or with their relationships. When we have a sense of 'mis-ft', nothing seems in balance.

I do my best to offer a wide range of services and expertise to the public. In addition to general practice offering child and family therapy, I specialize in 'play therapy' for helping children get in touch with their feelings; in hypnosis as a tool for facilitating life change; and in transgender issues.
